Repurposing workflow

Content Studio is a local content workspace. It formats selected excerpts into editable drafts. The current preview preserves your wording; it does not automatically summarize a transcript, rewrite its meaning, identify the best moments, or publish to a channel.

1. Start a collection

Open the workspace and create a collection. Give it a title, an optional brand, an audience, and a purpose. Use the fictional example to explore the workflow with material you can safely edit.

2. Bring the original

Add a source by pasting text or importing a supported file. Read the original segment, shorten it to an exact excerpt if needed, then select its checkbox. Editing an already selected excerpt clears its selection, so you can check it again before use. Choose up to 50 excerpts at a time.

Keep qualifying statements, conditions, and negations. A short quote can be misleading even when every word appears in the original. See source formats and limits.

3. Choose a format

Posts, newsletters, and articles start as selected excerpts in order. Threads split long excerpts into parts at whitespace when possible. Quote cards use one excerpt. Timed captions retain source start and end times. You can also create a blank draft.

Character budgets are editable planning limits, not verified social-platform limits. Counts use Unicode grapheme clusters; a platform may count characters, links, or emoji differently. Check the destination before publishing.

4. Edit and review

Edit each block, add headings, move blocks, or write your own text. An edited paraphrase can retain source references. A cited quote must exactly match a cited excerpt. Source links demonstrate a connection to source text, not factual accuracy or publishing permission.

Record your name and what you checked. Review requires nonempty content within the editor budget. A quote card also needs to fit legibly. Changing an asset, its cited source context, or collection details resets its current review.

5. Save a release and export

Select reviewed drafts and save a release with a note. It includes copies of the selected assets and all collection sources. Later edits or deletions in the working drafts do not alter that snapshot. Release names are self-reported local review records, not authenticated team approvals.

Choose a file type from an asset or a saved release. Export options and private source records explains what each file contains. Export a workspace backup to preserve editable work.
